“Tried it, and you’d start salivating only by its name. You can hardly find anything subtle in Bangin Sour Berries, for it’s as straightforward as a bite of wild blackberries that are too wild to be ripe. That charming immaturity will lead to a big ‘Bangin’ of sourness in your mouth – stronger than sour skittles, but in a more natural, fruity way. It is undoubtedly tarter than Blue Razz Ice or Night Crawler. In case you’ve always been a fan of unripen fruits, it can get you what you want ‘lemon-squeezily’ (literally!)”

The Sour Timeline
Sourness is a physical sensation. Here is how it evolves during a puff:
- 0.0s (The Shock):
Immediate sourness. Like a grenade fille with sour dust, it will hit either side of your tongue rapidly and fiercely. - 1.5s (The Fruit):
The sourness paces away a bit for the landing of the primary fruitiness: Dark Blackberry and Red Raspberry. Coming from fresh fruits before their peak, it’s a natural tartness. - 3.0s (The Aftertaste):
The tartness remains and lingers as you salivate. There is very minimal ice/cooling effect, so that the sour note can stay dominant.
Sour Wars: Which RAZ is Sourer?
Given that the majority of RAZ flavors are sweet, the sour ones are rather precious. Take a look at different types of sourness.
| Flavor | Device | Sour Level | Profile Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bangin Sour Berries | DC25000 Only | 9/10 (High) | Sharp Fruit Acid |
| Night Crawler | TN9000 | 6/10 (Med) | Sour Sugar Gummy |
| Sour Apple Watermelon | DC25000 | 7/10 (Med-High) | Green Apple Tartness |
Why DC25000?
Why Boost Mode?
This flavor is born to be with the Boost Mode (24W) of the DC25000.
- Standard Mode (12W): You can get a mild tartness of berries. It’s good, but still not “Bangin” enough.
- Boost Mode (24W): The sourness is intensified by the heating when vapor becomes denser and hits much harder. This is what real tartness should be.
Sour Showdown
Then, how does it compare to sour vapes from other brands?
| Product | Sourness Realism | Verdict |
|---|---|---|
| RAZ Bangin Sour Berries | High | Feels like real fruit acid. Sharp and awakening. |
| Geek Bar (Sour Apple Ice) | Medium | More like green apple candy. Sweetness still dominates. |
| Lost Mary (Sour Mouth) | Medium | Good attempt, but the flavor fades quickly after a few puffs. |
Frequently Asked Questions
Is it icy?
Very limited (2/10). This is a sour-forward flavor, after all. If you want more menthol kick, try Sour Apple Ice.
Can I get this in the TN9000?
No, it is a DC25000 exclusive. For alternatives, try Sour Mango Pineapple for TN9000 and Sour Strawberry for RYL Classic 35K.
