Soft vs Boost — How to Use the Purse Vape
Four steps from box to first puff. The only control is the slider on the bottom of the device: one way is Soft (tighter draw, longer life), the other is Boost (more air, warmer, denser hit).
Step 1 — Unbox the Purse Vape
Slide the device out of the leather slip case. Remove the silicone mouthpiece cap. Don't pull on the chain lanyard — it's structural; tug it off carefully if you don't want it.
Step 2 — Pick Soft or Boost
Slide the bottom switch to Soft or Boost. The side arch display shows the active mode along with battery and e-liquid level. Soft is what the 35,000-puff rating is based on.
Step 3 — Draw to Fire (No Button Needed)
One-second MTL draw. Draw-activated — no button. Switch Soft and Boost any time by sliding the bottom switch; no warm-up delay.
Step 4 — USB-C Charge When Battery Low
USB-C at the base into the 820 mAh cell. RAZ does not publish a charge time; unplug when the display shows full.

Is it real leather?
Synthetic leather wrapped over the device body — not animal leather. Vegan-friendly. Holds up better in a purse or pocket than animal leather would.
What do the Soft and Boost modes do?
The bottom switch toggles Soft and Boost. Soft is the low-power setting the 35,000-puff rating is based on; Boost runs hotter for a denser hit and uses the 16.5 mL tank faster. The side arch display shows the active mode.
Can I take it on a plane?
US TSA: lithium-battery devices in carry-on, not checked. The RYL is lithium-ion → cabin only. Chain lanyard may set off detectors but is allowed — remove from bag for X-ray.
How is it different from RL Vape (LV-style)?
RYL Classic is the RAZ-brand purse-style device sold direct from raz-vape.com. RL Vape is a separate brand with a similar aesthetic — not RAZ. Authentication: 12-digit code on the box must verify at /product-authentication/.
